Disclaimer: The "you" as used in this post (including this disclaimer) is*not* intended to mean any specific person or persons, living or dead, real or imagined. It certainly doesn't mean you individually - it's a generic "you." The suggestion to remember is *not* indicative of a belief on my part that any person reading this, or having it read to them, has a faulty memory,or does not actually already know what I suggest be remembered, or that, if he/she doesn't remember it, actually needs to remember. It's merely a humble suggestion, which any of "you" (see definition above) should feel free to follow or not as you see fit. I mean no ill will towards anyone who does or does not follow my suggestion. I do intend to follow it and hope that isn't offensive to anyone. Likewise, my "poorly edited home movie" comment is not intended to be a smear upon anyone's ability to edit or otherwise make home movies. I'm sure my home movies are more boring and less well edited than yours, if you have any home movies. And if you don't have any, that's fine,too. Who needs them? Unless, you want to have home movies but just haven't yet - that's also fine by me. Where was I? Oh yeah - My reference to lifeless bodies was not intended to offend anyone's sensibilities. It was intended as a metaphor only, and does not indicate that I condone or otherwise sanction the taking of life from any body. My statement about potential future disfigurement is similarly metaphorical and is not indicative of any feelings of mine towards anyone out there that wants to or otherwise enjoys said disfigurement. Any sarcasm or otherwise ironic statements in this post or disclaimer were inserted for rhetorical and/or entertainment reasons only: They are not intended as an affront to anyone. For instance, my use of "wonderful moments" in describing past events is *not* aimed at you, anything you wrote, and/or anything you were involved with. OTOH, if you truly think the described events were wonderful, my admission that I used the term sarcastically should not be construed as a judgement on my part of your beliefs, which are as valid as anyone's. My intent in using any and all sarcasm is only to insert a bit of good-natured humor into the post. Any resulting causticity, beside being totally unintentional on my part, should be construed as being aimed solely at myself and my own sad contributions. My comments about flames do not refer to anything you wrote or anything anyone wrote about you. My summary of past events, particularly the references to flames, are not meant to be invective. Finally, I'm sorry if the contents of this post or disclaimer offends you - that is the exact opposite of my intention. I'm further sorry if being sorry about my post offends you - I can understand how being overly apologetic might be offensive, or at least annoying, so I'll try to strike the right balance between apologizing for my offenses and not apologizing in the future. And, of course, I'll try not to offend anyone in the first place, but if I have, not only am I *exactly* as sorry as you want me to be, I'll endeavor to be less offensive in the future. After all, that's the purpose of this disclaimer.----
