County Fairs

Some friends and I go to our county fair every year. If you have never seen this sort of thing, you would be amazed at what crawls out from under the rocks here.

We conduct a sort of scavenger hunt, looking for some of the more bizarre examples.

We make a list, and try to find as many as possible. Here is this years list, with explanations as necessary:

- Fair king and queen. (Together... This is rare.)

- 250+ Lb. woman in Spandex or Lycra.

- Family of five under 25. (an easy one.)

- Couple dressed in all black. (Everything you can see, anyway.)

- Girl eighteen or under, pregnant and with a small child. No man in sight.

- Person with two or more homemade or prison tattoos.

- Obese couple with their belly buttons showing.

- Person with five or less teeth.

- Person with five or less fingers. (counting both hands.)

- And as always, the One Ton Family. This can be any number walking together, with total weight estimate over 2000 Lbs.

If you think these are unattainable, go to the fair. Demolition Derby night is best, followed by the truck pulls, then the country music act.
