Checking the Drives > Drive Space

It has been our experience that when a drives free space drops below 10% of the capacity of the drive that the performance of the drive (computer) is greatly impacted. By getting the free space back above 10% can speed the computer up considerably.

Tip: 20% free space will provide even greater performance.

Quick steps to check Drive Space:

1.	Open My Computer

2.	Right-click on a drive

3.	Choose Properties

4.	Note the full capacity of the drive

5.	Note how much of the drive is available (Free space)
