Test Peer-Peer networking functionality
If the computer is in a LAN environment, the connectivity to the other computers should be tested. This will help verify that the firewall and IP protocols are configured correctly
Make sure that you can browse the local computers.
Looking for open shares
Having open shares exposed to a LAN or worse yet, the internet, requires evaluation. It should be understood what each share is for and that the security setting for the shares is set appropriately.
