| • | Run the program and let it fix anything that it finds. |

| • | Run the test. |
| • | Uncheck BPS items if Bulletproof is installed. |
| • | Fix all items found. |
| • | Reboot system (Safe mode will be fine for the next Ad-Aware tests). |

| • | Safe Mode works well if the system is suspected of being heavily infested. |
| • | Check for Updates. |
| • | Ad-Aware has some very powerful features in the tweaks section. Be sure to select Custom when scanning. |
| • | Let it quarantine any items found. |
| • | Reboot the system. |

Run Norton Win Doctor (optional)
After all the work done above, this is a great tool to clean up any of the extras that may not have been cleaned up properly. It can reduce the amount of extra trash left in the Registry.
