The scope of this guide is limited to the common and periodic maintenance and support functions required by Windows PC computer systems. It is primarily geared toward the Small Office and Home type systems. It is intended as a PC technician guideline, but may be used by any end user who poses a working knowledge of the PC operating system.
Many of the statements and comments in this guide are our own opinions and do not necessarily represent definitive facts about the products or services. They are meant to serve as summaries of our own personal experiences, your mileage may vary.
Using this guide
