Federal Government Overreach

Feels different when the shoe is on the other foot, doesn't it?

Conservatives and Libertarians were subjected to this for the past decade. This is why schools should never be run by the government and why schools, and even states, should not be dependent on federal government for funding. Federal government dependence allows administrations to use coercion and extortion to impose their political views.

One administration says you are anti government, another says you are racist or phobic. One says you hate Jews another says you hate minorities, LGBTQ+, trans..., when perhaps you only disagree with their positions and policies.

Though, sometimes the government is right, even hate speech is protected speech. Only illegal speech, like conspiracy, sedition or incitement to commit crimes or violence should be prohibited.

Sadly, the same people who are outraged by this, will go back to doing the same thing, as soon as their side is back in power.
